The Embryonic Stem Cell Research Oversight (ESCRO) Committee provides oversight of issues related to the derivation and research use of oocytes, embryos, human embryonic stem cell (hESC) lines, hESC derivatives and certain research uses of induced pluripotent stem cells at Harvard University. The Committee reports to the Vice Provost for Research Policy.  The Committee is comprised of a diverse group of faculty members and subject-matter experts in the areas of biology, stem cell research, genetics, bioethics and law.
