I would like to edit my HUFP profile because my name or my preferred email has changed since I set up my account.

The good news is that it is possible to change your HUFP account name and/or primary email address. However, if your account was set up with a valid HUID # (see this question to understand why an HUID account is best)  it must be done for you by a member of the Office of the Vice Provost for Research.

The OVPR has been working with our software partners to determine if this process can be finessed to allow users direct access to their account in order to make edits. The issue is complicated because HUFP sits behind the Harvard PIN wall. It is good that the portal has such robust protection, but it does limit user access in this one regard.

If you would like to make a change to your HUFP account, either your name or primary email address, please send the request in writing to Autumn Bennett in the Office of the Vice Provost for Research.
